Reflecting its commitment to the community and the country, Laboratorios Bagó maintains a Social Responsibility Program encompassing initiatives in the areas of health, education, and culture.
This comprehensive program has been in development for over two decades, growing and expanding its geographic coverage nationwide over the years. Its primary objective is to promote initiatives that foster active and continuous community engagement.
Health-related activities focus on raising awareness about prevention, providing informative materials and training sessions, and donating medicines to meet specific therapeutic needs of underprivileged populations, indigenous communities, border hospitals, and various non-profit organizations.
Key initiatives this year included the donation of antibiotics, antipyretics, antidiarrheals, and primarily moisturizing sunscreens to communities in northern Argentina. In this region, sunscreens are an essential necessity due to high solar exposure, elevated temperatures, and adverse climatic conditions. Through the “Health Care” Program, more than 33,000 products were delivered to children and adults across more than 20 communities.
To achieve broader geographic coverage, the company collaborated with various NGOs whose national reach, prestige, and reliability ensured the secure and efficient delivery of products, as well as with foundations operating in smaller areas and specific communities.
Through this campaign, the company reaches more than 10 provinces and specific areas such as the Puna Salteña and the Impenetrable Chacosalteño.
The completion of this initiative is scheduled for November, by which time all products will have been delivered.
